vicissitudes

Since I am in Germany this month, I decided to take a look at the exchange rate. This morning it looks something like this: 1.00 EUR = 1.28823 CAD. These numbers look awfully familiar to me. Of course they do. When I first moved to Canada in 2004, this was the CAD/USD exchange rate (approximately).  I feel like a strange economic circle has been traced.

Of course it's always about change.
